Onimiki Renewable Energy’s information and consultation process is entering a new phase with the holding of participatory thematic workshops.
The public and organizations are invited to take part in the first workshop on the Onimiki Project’s study areas and environmental inventories.
When: Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.
Where: Le Centre, Salon Desjardins
20 Humphrey Street, Témiscaming
* Online participation possible
The workshop’s topic was established per the feedback and concerns expressed during the information and consultation meetings. Participants will be able to learn more about the inventory process, the project’s study areas, the species identified, and the required environmental assessments to document the project’s impacts.
The Onimiki Renewable Energy team will be accompanied by independent experts from CIMA+, who will be on hand to explain the process and answer questions.
The workshop will be facilitated by the Transfert Environnement et Société team. The participatory component will allow participants to provide contributions to improve the project’s assessment and its development process.
The workshop is open to all. Registration is mandatory for logistical purposes.
The activity will take place in French, although the team will be available to answer questions in English.
For participants who choose to take part online, the link will be sent to you the week before the workshop.
