The Vision énergie tour organized by the Quebec government was in Abitibi-Témiscamingue on May 12.
The tour stops in the regions of Quebec to consult people and organizations as part of the process of developing the Integrated Energy Resources Management Plan (Plan de gestion intégré des ressources énergétiques) in parallel with the process of adopting Bill 69.
David McLaren, President of Onimiki Renewable Energy, took part in the meeting, which was attended by around 15 people. He pointed out to deputy Yves Montigny, who is in charge of the tour, that the Onimiki project is innovative thanks to the community energy model and the partnership between First Nations and the MRC de Témiscamingue. The meeting also provided an opportunity for good exchanges with the people present.
