The Onimiki logo

Onimiki means “thunder” in Algonquian language and the three fundamental elements that characterize the project are:

Water + Tunnel+ Electricity

Water is one of the key elements in the production of renewable energy and was always associated with the economic development of a territory. In the case of Onimiki, this water will be transported to the mini-power station by a tunnel and will then be transformed into electricity.

It is the combination of these three elements that creates the distinctive signature that is the Onimiki project. Water and electricity are closely related to the thunder: the power of elements at the service of the community!
